Building on your knowledge of anatomy and skin tones, you will now be able to interpret your photos into beautiful portraits. I will direct you in using the Impressionist Palette to create these paintings. You will learn how to go beyond what the camera sees and incorporate sparkling Impressionist effects.
This is an interactive online class beginning April 9th and ending May 28th. Class meets at 10 am CST to 2pm CST with a 10 minute break every hour, and a half hour for lunch. Doors open 15 minutes early so we can help you with tech questions.
Cost is $300 for the entire eight weeks.
This summer let’s immerse ourselves in the beauty of nature. During classes, I will show you how to make your sketches and photos into strong, compelling paintings. Between classes, you will go out and sketch the summer landscape. We will take the time to study composition, color, drawing, brushwork, and the mysterious alchemy that will turn your experiences into a work of art.
This is an online Zoom class starting on July 7 through August 25. Class begins at 10 am CDT and ends at 2 pm CDT with a ten-minute break every hour and a half-hour break for lunch. Doors open 15 minutes early so we can help you with tech questions.

Join other dedicated artists for in-depth learning in the beautiful classroom at On-Track Studios. We use charcoal and oils to study landscape, portrait and still life painting in the classical Impressionist style.
This class starts April 7 to April 28. We meet at 10 am until 2 pm with a half hour sack lunch break. We meet at On-Track Studios, 1978 Wilson Pike, Franklin TN 37067.
Price for the four weeks is $300.
