Gayle Levée, a third-generation artist, studied under Boston School painter Robert Douglas Hunter and at the University of Denver. Gayle became a member of the prestigious Copley Society following the Boston School tradition. Her unique artistic style quickly gained recognition, leading to exhibitions in galleries across Boston, Cape Cod, Maine, New Hampshire, Taos New Mexico, Vermont, and the Central South.
Gayle Levée's workshops in the Boston School of painting have been featured in American Artist magazine. Recently, her work was highlighted in American Art Review, alongside her mentor, Robert Douglas Hunter.
Levée is a member of the Oil Painters of America, the Hudson Valley Artists’ Association, the American Artists’ Professional League and the Art Renewal Center.
