Fill your paintings with color and sparkle!
This August you will have the opportunity to paint with me on the rugged coast of Cape Ann, walking in the footsteps of such greats as Winslow Homer, Childe Hassam, Maurice Prendergast, and Cecilia Beaux.
You will learn the techniques and methods of these great American Impressionists. We will work with the palette they used, inspired by the scenery that exalted the masters. You will learn how to compose a compelling painting, how to accurately portray your subject, and how to capture the illusion of light and air.
We will be painting in a quiet location on a private beach. The brilliant blue of the North Atlantic has no equal. You will be enthralled!
The artist colony at Rocky Neck is the oldest in America and a great, picturesque spot to visit.
